The GEMHYPE- Christmas Special - How about a gemstone set?

Every year we are looking for the right Christmas gifts for our loved ones. The management consultancy EY publishes an annual study on the attitude manner of Germans at Christmas. The 2019 study shows again: Germans are generous and have steadily increased their spending in recent years. The average Christmas budget of the interviewees was 281 Euro, which amounts to a total expenditure of about 18.4 billion Euro - not bad! Germans spend around 5 billion Euros a year on watches and jewelry, with more being spent on jewelry than on watches. Most jewelry is bought for Christmas. So what does this mean for us? It means that the hot phase of the year has begun!

But Christmas, as we know, comes suddenly for most people. Surprising, unexpected, faster and earlier than one had thought. You know this, now you are visited as a goldsmith or jeweler to "quickly" create tasteful, individual pieces of jewelry. In order to give you a little help here, we have created finely coordinated gemstone sets for you. We hope that this will save you the time-consuming search for perfectly matching gemstones. So that you can fully concentrate on your design and the implementation of it.

Our sets are available in different varieties, three popular colors are now presented. They are graded according to different price categories so there is something for different budgets.

Blue Dreams - the Tanzanite Set

This four-piece set in dreamy, light tanzanite blue is ideal for delicate ear studs and a matching two-piece pendant. Simple and classically modern in prongs, the jewelry is also very suitable for young wearers.

Tanzanites are found exclusively in Tanzania near the Kilimanjaro. They belong to the mineral group Zoisit. Tanzanites in gemstone quality were discovered 50 years ago by Massai herdsmen. The name of the stone was introduced by the New York jewelry company Tiffany to refer to the country of origin Tanzania. Tanzanite is the birthstone of December.

Christmas green - the tsavorite set

The noble, green shining tsavorite set in three parts consists of an oval pendant stone and two pearshape tsavorites for earrings.

The tsavorite was discovered in 1974 by a Scottish geologist named Campbell R. Bridges in Tanzania near the Tsavo National Park, hence the name tsavorite. It belongs to the grossular garnet group. The stone gets its intense green color from the coloring substances chrome and vanadium. Tsavorites are mainly found in Kenya and Tanzania. They are very rare and therefore valuable.

Romantic pink for the festival of love - the Rubellit set

The romantic rubellite set consists of three pink shining tourmalines in pearshape. Here you can create feminine earrings  from the small drops and a matching necklace.

The rubellite is a pink-red tourmaline that is very similar to the ruby. Its color is due to manganese. In 1703 the Dutch first introduced tourmalines from Sri Lanka to Western and Central Europe. The name "tourmaline" comes from the Sinhalese word "turmali", which means colored or colored stone.
